Fort Smith Practice Round
I got in 12 holes today in the practice round for the Nationwide Tour event in Fort Smith, AR. I walked the other 6 holes in the rain. Hardscrabble CC, site of the event, is a good challenging layout. The greens are in good shape, though they will be soft for the event after all the rain we’re getting. The rough is sparse because they had a late frost that set back their growing season.
We’re supposed to get a bunch of rain tonight that lasts into tomorrow. So, practice tomorrow is in question. I got in plenty of work today, so it won’t be a big deal if it’s a rainout.
I play late on Thursday and early Friday.
